75% of the undergraduate student body votes in favor of divestment.

150 students and faculty stage a sit-in outside of the President's office to call for full divestment from oil and gas.

2020
The Board of Trustees decides NOT to divest from all oil and gas holdings.

2019
Fossil Free Stanford holds a rally and delivers a proposal to the Vice-Provost of Student Affairs calling on the Board of Trustees to divest.

2013
ASSU Undergraduate Senate passes a resolution in favor of divestment.

Stanford Divests from Coal!

2020
Faculty Senate votes against divestment, fearing that fossil fuel sponsors will withdraw research funding.

2018
Fossil Free Stanford relaunches a petition calling for divestment from the top 100 oil and gas companies.

Fossil Free Stanford holds a rally calling for divestment by Earth Day 2020.
